I dont understand everytime I link to 3dmark it does that I checked it three times. This is a real noob question, how do i take a screenshot. I will probably never figure it out so my score with physx enabled was P20846 with a GPU score of 18281 and a CPU score of 35996. I wonder why my links never work I received this copy of vantage when I bought my bfg 260.

Its not a n00b question, most people actualy dont know how to do that.
See that pr sc button next to scroll lock? Align CPU-Z, GPu-Z and your 3dmark scores in a good shot and hit that button. Then go to paint or your favorite photo editing program and hit paste. Your screenie should then be there and you can save.Univac

In a few minutes I'm gonna post my new Vantage Score after I've replace my faulty P5N-E 650i motherboard with the Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P.
I'll be running it with my Q6600 overclocked to 3.2GHz (8x400) and my 8800GTX at 600/2000.
I'm using nVidia 182.08 WHQL drivers...Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 (G0) @3.4GHz (8 x 425)

I guess that PhysX contributes A LOT to the score, ah?

It adds 200 - 500 points depending. I usually report scores in reviews with and without PhysX to keep the ATI people happy.
Doesn't make much difference to me, I'm gonna have it enabled for games so it might as well be enabled in benches.

Vantage was designed to use the CPU not the GPU for the PhysX processing portion of the benchmark. Any scores using NVIDIA PhysX are invalid. It is not about keeping the ATi people happy, it is about running the benchmark properly.

Considering I run it with and without PhysX and report both I don't see a problem with it.
It's something people are going to have to get used to.
Windows 7 will be using Parallel processing to do part of the job for the OS, does that mean in order to do anything properly we have to find a way to disable Cuda and parallel processing.
Obviously since the OS itself is going to be supporting Parallel processing on GPU's, which is the direction computing is heading, it's not going to be a level playing field if you run benches with a Cuda enabled GPU as opposed to a Non-Cuda GPU.
Only in computing do you see people freaking out about a component that takes on multiple roles. So the GPU does it's job and takes some load off the CPU. The GPU is actually working harder and making it easier on the system. That's a bad thing?
You can't cripple components and say it's entirely fair to the company that invested the time and cash to develop the technology.
In most cases build a better mouse trap the world beats a path to your door, in GPU's invent a better way to do things and ignore the capability because "it's not fair".
I don't see it, test both ways report both ways and let it go at that.

All I'm saying is that Futuremark considers the scores submitted with NVIDIA PhysX enabled to be invalid as the benchmark results are acheived by thwarting the intended test of the CPU's ability to process PhysX. It is their benchmark after all, what you choose to do with your reports has no effect on what the correct way to run their benchmark is. Semantics should not be involved in a thread that is supposed to be about true/valid Vantage scores. It is not about being "fair" at all, NVIDIA's PhysX drivers corrupt the benchmark.
