TY JJ. the 470's are a well rounded pair of vids. Stone Giant, I am seeing a 100% improvement in frame rates. and in heaven it is around 90%. Now if Nvidia release the surround drivers.

Ya the 470 and 480 cards so far have lived right up to all there hipe.

JJ make sure you have the latest drivers too. THe new 200 based drivers seem to be giving the 400 series cards a good boost.

I know, but when i bring them to 9s my score gets lower. Wierd, but im not arguing with a 19k score. Also i could go higher with the card if i modded the bios for more volts. I can do 900mhz on the core but the max i can do volt wise is 1.085. It will get almost to the end of any bench really and crash.

have you tried dropping the memory divider to 8 giving you a 1600 mhz mem speed then tighten memory to 8-8-8-24?

Thanks. I'm on a quest for 24k before I go SLI because a friend of mine beat me by a smidget with SLI 260s and an i7 950 at 4ghz. My CPU score is higher than his, but his avg FPS is slightly higher than mine in the benches. When I'm done preparing my house for my fathers Memorial Concert I hope I will have more time to mingle with this 470.
