    This is a list of tested memory with the 790i motherboards. Also any SLI certified, or DDR3 memory listed on www.slizone.com .

    Anything SLI certified should be fine. With DDR3 being as new as it is, if anyone remembers the DDR2 launch, binning and compatibility tests are hard to do for memory manufacturers with only a few platforms out to do it on. I recommend getting SLI certified memory. All of those sticks will have been tested on the 790i. I can see about getting an updated list of tested modules.

    just a note on the review they can run there ram at T1 on my 790i T1 unstable.

    I'm using the 4gb kit of Patriot Viper PC16000 @ 2000MHz. The timing setting I'm currently using it 8-8-8-22-T2, running link with an OC'ed Q9400.

    So far, this have been the best experience with memory compared to other memory I've used in the past
