You could change the multi on the memory, can't you? It shouldn't effect performance by that much.

That's odd, because usually you can just bump it down to a lower multi and run your memory at a slower speed which yields you to higher overclocks on the CPU. ODD. Just so you know on the Sandy Bridge, you are limited the main memory speeds, except 2000MHz. 2000MHz is not in the list of supported memory speeds, so you either go 1866MHz or 2133MHz.

I can do 2150 easy, so I can probably do 2133 with lowered timings. Yea idk why the board won't let me lower the multi for this particular RAM. It lowers fine for any other RAM.

odd, don't know. You are using two memory modules right? Four might give you some trouble if you plan on running four at 2133MHz, but that's just from my own experience with 8GB. I'm moving up to 16GBs, and apparently I will have to take the speed down even further to compensate with the capacity. We'll see. The Kingston H2O kit is not designed to run when you use four of them at once, but I guess I got lucky. I just get a few BSODs at random points, but I'm trying to figure out what the problem could be because the system will BSOD even when it is idle, but then when I run stress tests, it goes through them without any problems. Whatever, let's get back on topic and lets see those water cooled rigs!

2 modules and I only have a multi problem with these sticks. Right now I'm currently trying to run hack SLI on this board and it's being a pain.

Not sure if I ever posted this, but it's obviously not in this thread. This used to be the water cooling loop in my previous X58 System.











And here is a disaster that happened with my previous water cooling loop even before the one above.



And before I went crazy with custom built water cooling loops I had a Cooler Master water cooling loop on the X38:







And then even before that, a Corsair Nautilus 500 water cooling loop. This one was the worst:

Why didn't you leave it like your X58 loop and just add the 120 to the back? Woulda made more sense to me.

Also, what did you do with your X58 setup?

PP, I wanted to do it that way but that radiator I had there leaked, and so I got a Thermochill raditor, which ended up being extra thick. So the thermochill radiator wouldn't fit back on the top of the case, so I had to put it outside. Then I also wanted to put the 120 on the back exhaust of the case, but believe it or not, it would not fit because the case was designed very stupidly and even with a fan in between it would be larger then the case. So I wouldn't be able to close the system. So I had to place it somewhere else. This is why I have it the way I have it now. Kind of sucks but works.

I had to literally take a hammer to this case to make the side panel fit with the rad there cause it's flush with the side.

Nothing really out there like y'alls but here is my first and so far only WC attempt......DreamCatcher in my sig.



As the AquaComputer self contained unit has everything outside the only "neat" thing I did was make it "kinda modular" so I could take stuff out of the case without too much fluid loss. Also the NB cooler was originally for intel, but modded that to work.

Looks nice Jedi. Looks like a great overall water cooling loop! I do want to try an all-in-one water cooling loop sometime where I do cool down every part of my system at once. Could be interesting.

It takes turns with the cats for that!! Currently system is down with something freaky but just letting it sit until I get KestrelFlight (no name) running and debug Oz1a.
