I have been looking at something like this for that purpose, but it does not move the rad off the box that much…… Had thought of using 2 pair on a 420.

I was kind of worrying that the tube will kink if it was too near the case that's why the extra space =)

nice bracket. But i did'nt saw that when I ordered at sidewinder last august. too bad.

I'd prolly mount the rad one lvl up, keep in mind your psu and vid cards are going to be blowing hot air out, and from the looks of it the psu's hot air will be heating up your tubing a bit. You can always use elbow connectors with clamps to get a good angle and avoid kinking.

You don't necesarily need that much space. I'm fine with one fan size between the rad and the case, but what I do is run the tube in a 360 circle when it goes out so it would not kink. But I personally don't like having the rad out side behind the PC, because if you have a 2 or 3-way SLI, think about the heat being dumped out at the back of the system that gets sucked in by the fans on the rad...

I thought of placing the rad on the side before but in the end putting it in the back was the easiest.. My current set-up is really bulky. I have seen some Coolermaster cm 690 case mod that they put the rad on top. But Im too lazy to do that hehe. Thanks for the insight.

If it wasn't for where Zalman had put the "front panel" items (up top) I would have used the EK brackets I linked. Locate the rad so the inlet/outlet is just beyound the back of the case. This will allow for a straight fitting and then the tubeing could "bend" to go into the case.

Just did this today. Used the barbs I got for the price of cookies and this res I managed to score for just a mere 10 bucks. Traded my second 465 for the new rad and pump. A powerful pump sure makes a huge difference.
