Nice results I got a 6800le and this thing went from 3dmark03 at 6200 to 10900 with a soft mod!

im gonna oc the card to ultra and see what kind of juice that gives it, maybe oc the cpu a little too just to see what happens.

I updated to 66.93 and oc'd the card to 420/1.1 and came up with this

tempts me to oc'ing the cpu now :D

I bumped my ram timings back up to 2,2,2,6 and enabled PAT.

Old score 2052 / 3264
New score 2105 / 3534

Not too bad for a small and easy change.

OK, get this.... I turned my CPU fan to max RPM. It's a Vantec 92mm Tornado, 120 CFM. Reran the benchie.

New Score 2108 / 3894

Thermal deal in the chip must have been skipping cycles before, cuz that's a big improvement on CPU score. 630 point difference from the first time I ran it.

I still have some fiddling to do. I know from some other tests I can get some more out of my old 9700pro.

It's amazing how addictive tweaking can be.

okay, thanks for the forum i got a directx 9 card that I can finally give it a benchmark and post my result here. Maybe I can make it to the list.

BTW, I got a lot of 1 fps during the benchmark, is this normal? is it because my card is not the fastest or this is how the benchmark is done?

1fps is definatly not how the demo should run.

I can't even run it. I have an ATI 8500 64MB and being directX 8 it's no good as you know.

I have geforce 5900xt thanks to you guys. I used to have geforece 3 ti200, so I know, it sucks that older card can't run the benchmark
