It would be nice to see what CPU, MB, RAM, and video card everyone is running to get the scores they are achieving.

Hey, how about an update to the list ?

Will do. I just got back from Nebraska, and will update the list with the few new scores we have, but it probably won't be until tomorrow.

Just got 4720 with Sapphire X800 XL.

That gets me up a couple notches. Overclocking may get me even higher.

I get huge score differences with a change to ambient room temperature. When I run the heater in the room my scores drop considerably even if CPU and or GPU temps never go above what we would consider normal operating temperature. I'm pretty damned sure of this. I have checked the temperatures about a dozen different ways.

GPU scores aren't as dramatic as CPU though. When the room is warm I get high 2000's up to low 3000's. If I turn the heat off and freeze myself and let the ambient drop to below 50f or so my CPU score can easily get into the low 4000's. I have a record of 4419 for CPU. I don't think that's too bad for a non-OC'd P4 2600.

Odd thing I always notice though... If the CPU score goes up, invariably the GPU goes down and of course visa versa. Haven't quite figured that one out yet.

My 5900XT works great in HL2 and other new games, though, so I'm fine for now .
