New engine is most likely going to DX11 and modable like every other ES before it. A Tweet from Bethesda said its a completely new engine meaning its not using IDTech5 trash and it isnt the rehashed Gamebryo engine. This is going to take over my life for a few years after its released just like Oblivion did.

Hopefully they'll change the level up system to the Fallout 3 style instead of the old Oblivion style.

Ugh perks like Fallout. I hated that stupid crap. They should not change perfection IMO. Sounds like they are mixing Fallout, Dragon Age, and older EDS together for a pwnage game though.

Some perks wouldn't be so bad I'd think (like maybe a farther distance away life detecting perk) but when some measley goblin comes after you with adamantium armor and dual flaming swords (just saying for example here) then that gets a bit too much.

What you just said is basically made up for with enchanted items. That's why I don't think it's a very good idea.
