What would you consider "too high" for a rig that is not running 24/7? I have one rig in a non AC'ed room that runs 24/7 so I don't worry as much but my other machine is in the basement and I do shut it down at night. I struggle to keep the humidity down below 65%.

    Any thoughts?

most hardware has a figure for humidity in the specs. try looking at your OEM's sites to see if they post it.
The path to universal understanding starts here: Say what you mean, and mean what you say.

Dehumidifier? I had my PC in my tent when the humidity was 100% before (really really really damp in the tent) and it wsa fine. Long as it isn't completely water then your good cause I think the humidity would just evaporate when it gets around the heatsinks.

Most home electronics have to have some compensation for humidity. Not everyone can live in the desert. Humidity is bad in all the areas I have lived, and never had problem with moisture damage to any of my equipment. Now if you throw it in a flooded basement, that's a different story.
