Default Soon to pass the mighty team whoopass.

Well it looks like in the next 5-6 months we will pass team whoopass. This is the NVIDIA team that took off like crazy when CUDA and Folding@Home came out the NVIDIA GPU. Granted they are not the team they once where, but still we are going to catch and pass them.

    Great Job gang.

We all like contributing as we can. Summer is hot here in Albuquerque, and the swamp cooler does not keep up with the heat of my primary folding system.

they are illegal here because we actually live in/near a swamp. it's a box with a fan that draws air thru watter running down straw/fiber mats/ filter material, whatever, to coll it. I used to see them out in OK when visiting my uncle as a kid. they can't be used here in FL because the chemicals you would need to put in them to keep the fungus/mold/mildew and/or other nastiness native to our state, from growing makes it hard to breath the air coming thru them. and if you skip the chemicals then you get to breath the spores from the stuff growing in it.

You can buy commercial units, they're just called evaporative coolers. http://www.amazon.com/SPT-SF-608R-Po...9386010&sr=8-1

BTW, what do you say when you pass someone named whoopass?

don't know where the name came from, but they are generally used in dry areas.
