    I left the house a little after 6:00 PM to run my daily errands, when I got back I found out I missed UPS. They showed up just after I left. (figures.) Assuming they don't lose this package like they did my last one, I'll have the card tommorow sometime after 5:00 PM.

    Sorry for the late response...YES I DID...and it worked like a charm. Very simple BIOS flash of the card.
    It is running cool with 6970 clocks, even though I didn't overclock it further and I can...or at least I think I can.

    Oh...and make sure your 6950 is the 2GB version and not a 1GB version, as it works only on the 2GB ones and only on old/first/initial batches, as in later batches there's a rumor that AMD has laser-cut the 'extra' shaders...
