Yes some were taken at the Australia Zoo which is an hour or so from Brisbane.
The 3 flights were a killer but it was almost worth it for the spectacular scenery and nature.
- 5.5 hr flight from Montreal to Vancouver
- 15 hr flight from Vancouver to Sydney
- 1.5 hr from Sydney to Brisbane
Plus another 9 hrs in between flights. If I were to ever go again I would fly business class so at least I would have room to stretch out and sleep.

The time zones really mess you up. We left here on Friday the 8th at 6:00PM and arrived there on Sunday morning Brisbane time. On the way back we left at 6:30 AM Brisbane time and arrived home at 7:00 PM Montreal time the same day.
