True Crime: Hong Kong gets new name and Publisher after Activision scraps it
Great news came a couple days ago from Gamasutra. Square Enix jumped in and saved the day by buying the rights to True Crime: Hong Kong from Activision following their having canceled the project earlier this year. Now if you're thinking, "So what, the first two True Crime games kinda sucked...", well, this one has a nice mix of talented devs from all over ala United Front Games working on it, and so far the look of the graphics, physics and gameplay are noticeably superior to the prior games. I only wish the former IW devs as much success with their future endeavors as this team will no doubt enjoy on this project. Who needs Activision, they just seem to get in the way of great talent.
