Post Some good news from gigabyte about the 6 series motherboards.

If you download and install the latest bios, your 6 series board is "ready to support the next generation Intel 22nm CPUs (LGA1155 Socket) as well as offer native support for PCI Express Gen. 3 technology, delivering maximum data bandwidth for future discrete graphics cards." Nothing more than a bunch of marketing crap.

Also, the RSS bot seems broke since this is arepost form yesterday: http://www.bjorn3d.com/forum/showthr...s-motherboards.

Actually its a repost due to a typo in the headline. rss poster sees it as a "new" article if you change so much as the case of one letter. and really all the product related press releases are a bunch of marketing. but if a bios update enables new features or allows you to add stuff to your board that you couldn't when you bought it, wouldn't you like for someone to tell you about it?

Should have been there from the beginning IMO since everything electronically was there to begin with.
