You don't seem to specify where you mounted the fans, which is crucial information. Ideally I'd like to see them mounted to a 120mm rad to get an idea of how effective their static pressure is. It also eliminates any inefficiencies of case design.

It states quite clearly that they were mounted to a copper heat-pipe HSF assembly in an open case. Thus taking the case completely out of the equation.
and I'm sure the reviewer would be happy to re test them on a LCS if you'd be so kind as to supply one.Testing consisted of using each fan in turn on a copper heat-pipe cooler attached to the CPU, measuring idle and full load temps, with the case open.

Thanks for the review and I like these fans ! sure they cost a bit more but would be a nice upgrade.A friend of mine previously recommend Enermax fans that were quite similar [ not sure if they were the exact model] so I may be inclined to check these out.
