Torchlight II or Diablo III
RPG Fans, are you planning on purchasing Torchlight II or Diablo III?
Torchlight II for me. I was a Huge fan of Diablo and Diablo II, but will not purchase Diablo III!
Torchlight II has LAN Play, Diablo III NO LAN Play
Torchlight II does NOT need an Always-On Internet Connection, Diablo III Needs an Always-On Internet Connection
Torchlight was a blast to play, although I did not re-play it as much as Diablo. I have not had that much fun playing a hack-n-slash RPG since Titan Quest. Playing Torchlight brought back the fondness of when I started PC Gaming, and I am anxiously awaiting the release of Torchlight II. For me it will be like re-living playing Diablo II (Solo and LAN) for the first time.
I do NOT play any games online, Period! I DO host LAN Parties!
My Brother and I live next to each other in the country, we have both homes networked together. I can play multi-player games with my Brother and 2 Nephews anytime I want, although I prefer Solo Play! We have a semi-unreliable always-on wirless ISP! The Cable Company does not service our address, nor does the Local Phone company provide DSL out this far. Would not matter if we had a better ISP, I still will not play online!Foulicious

diablo 3, not even a question. It's been in development for about 6 years, by a company that's always made A+ games. Torchlight 2 is a much smaller project and about one year development.
