First, try to keep the posts clear and concise so we are sure what you are asking.
second glad you like it here, come around more often.
so apparently you have an E8500 and need to replace the XFX board?
ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI are all good choices. Zotac makes one. so does biostar.
what features do you want/need and what type of mem are you going to be using.
Tiger direct has a few listed still so it's not impossible to find one.

If you can find one I highly reccomend the Gigabyte P45-UD3P. I have two of these boards and they work great. Have a Q9400 in one that I got to 4.0Ghz on air... I do not think that they sell them anymore. I might be able to part with one of mine soon if the price is right.

Here is a P45 that is avail on newegg but not as good as the UD3 but it does have DDR3.

Sorrry for the delayed responce but my mother inlaw had a BAD stroke in September and im just know getting around to my upgrade. First let me say THANKS to you all here @ B3D ! I have literally used the knowlage to build my first PC ( not a store "job" ), and i know i am a wee bit behind the times ( im not an early adopter) I like to wait for the price to come down and get "the DEAL" then ebaaay every thing, and that has worked thus far. I will post ASAP when I decide on A new/ "last" PC case, any Ideas, Y'all? I need a case that @ minimum holds 4 HDD's, and GREAT cooling, im to concerned about the price although it is a facter. Again, THANKS !! a1namill....

    Default I am REALLY

forgetful about retaining info. I am maybe eccentric, I want to keep the mobo as long as possible, as they ( XFX ) does not make them any more, I believe? And it has not given me 1 bit of trouble. I'd like to try OC'ing this bad boy as I've never done/had the op- to do it with the E-5200. I am using OCZ, PC-6400, 800mhz, RAM 8GB, it's maxed so i don't have anymore room in that area, But I also am guessing that it can be OC'ed just never done it. Again, THANKS !. a1namill.........

There are some very nice cases, that will meet your needs, available in the $50-$70 range. I can state for certain that the Bitfenix Outlaw is one of them. the rest I would have to guess at.

I have to say I bought my first Rosewill case just a couple days ago. I think it was the challanger model and it was only 49.99 deliverd shipping included. it has space for 5 hdd, ssd tray, 4 5.25 bays. and cable managment. Yea 49.99 and it has cable managment. I am really impressed with this case for the money!! Let me know if you have any questions about it. I have the Giga P43t-USB3 mobo in it with a E6500 @ 3.03 GHZ and HD5770. It works great for my kids steam and homework rig!

Hey Blacksmith1, I just got through looking the Bitfenix's web site over and I honestly have never heard of them, It just shows one whom thinks he knows every thing ( LOL ) or @ lest according to my woman/wife of over 30++ years who says im perfect or so I think ( if ya know what I mean) anyway. But heck she can't even find the power cord let alone the power switch , It's like this I know that we can buy A boxed PC possibly cheaper than the "build", but that would take all the fun out of building my own PC, and "repairing" all the family & friends PCs. As always the ideas are GREAT ! Here @ BJ3D. Y'all have a good 1...

I will do, I know im kinda scatter brained, But there is the diagnoses, I have A , HIGH, Metabolisam. and A 9th, Grade edu. But just this very summer I learned how to trade Options in the stock market, I've made some Mad Money, ( no plug intended ) and lost a little shorting stocks. I know this is OFF topic but just giving A lil BIO on me. And I learned A word,"Binominal Distribution", Google it? then read the 1st Wiki article? then maybe you'll understand ME. I do encourage ya, But im also sorry that I may get A little "scatter brained". I never "judge a book by it's cover" NEVER have never WILL". there is always A "reason".
