Looking good there! I intend to build up a 2600K system later with some NVidia cards for some GPU/CUDA code experiments and learning. Never enough time between family, work, and other interests. Doing some honey harvesting from two hives tomorrow. Probably about 4 gallons of honey.
Home: Homebrew, Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit, CPU Intel I7 980 Extreme@ 3.5GHz, 6GB DDR3, ASUS P6X58D, MSI GTX470, Patriot 128GB SSD, 1 TB data drive, Corsair H50 CPU cooler, lots of fans, Dell 27" 2560x1440 panel
Office: Windows XP, 32bit Dell 7400, 2.9Ghz 4-core Xeon, 4GB RDRAM, Quadro FX3700, nondescript parts to fill out the system, dual 24" 1920x1200 panels

Can't be cause if you look in the last pic you will see the holes are bigger then the studs that go in from the back. I had to try to keep it centered while mounting it.

The spacing between the mounting holes on the FM1 socket should be the same as AM3/3+ and AM2/2+.

this doesn't clip onto the frame? it replaces the cooler mount plastic piece? Ok just looked at the picks again. I thought it would clip to the blue M/B mounts but the next pic they are off. so i guess that answers my question. got any pics of the cooler before it was mounted?
