I will take two. I actually am not sure which X79 to go with. Giga or Asus or ASRock?

No it just my main hobby. Also I do a lot of fixing and selling old PC's. Actually with the money I made from mining and the stuff I have won. I don't spend all that much of my money.
Dosen't everyone have 10 or 12 computers lying around?

I still need a dual core that's at least = to an AMD 939 4400+ that has a PCI-e slot.with ddr or better mem can range from 1.5GB and up. got any that fit that?

Do you have an AM2 CPU? I got a 7950GT and a Biostar AM2+ board with like 1gb of DDR2. That is pretty much the extent of my laying around hardware. I don't have anything good anymore cause I had to sell it off.

my spares are an lga 775 and an old 939 with bent pins that could be fixed. i got ays that was BSOD'ing even on a fresh load of win, I'm going to see if can get it to work
