[Solved] Gyigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3P
this one is running POST and then stopping at the point of listing the drives and opening BIOS on it's own. I have never run into anything like this and don't know where to start.
We tried setting bios to the failsafe and that didn't change anything.
system specs:
M/B Gyigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3P
CPU amd Phenom II 965
Mem DDR3 ( gotta get brand and model and speed)
GPU GTX295 (saphire I think, maybe zotac)
Add-in SATA pci slot adaptor
I told him to excange the keyboard with his oter sys incase there's a short in it causing this but he's not at home right now.
and this is an over the phone diagnostic so it the same issues as doing it here.Last edited by Blacksmith1; 01-08-2012 at 03:46 AM.

have you tried to clear the cmos by taking the battery out. I thin it can potentially be the add-on card, try to barebone it.

that was the first thing I had him try. belivie it or not when he got home and swapped out the keybaotds , that fixed it. his brand new ( don't know the brand) keyboard has a sorted key set. I told him take it back for the warrenty.
