    Default Video benchmark app?

I need something that will cook the card and do it steady. with little to no fluctuation on load/power draw. Furmark is all over the map from 65+ to 98% load. F@H doesn't use the whole card, Just the cuda cores, Kombustor is a modified Furmark.... Any suggestions? Oh yeah, it has to be able to do SLI or run on several different cards at once.

Furmark is basically the benchmark of stress. Just enable all the options and click xtreme burn in. It always does 100% on my card.

on mine at extreme with all settings up it fluctuates. wildy and rapidly. and as it fulctuataes so does the amount of amperage it is drawing, which changes too fast for me to get an accurate reading.

Is this across 2 cards at once, or a single one?

Edit: It could be OCP causing your card to throttle for a second. The 500 series has this and can give off abnormal readings. It likes to do that on things like Furmark or OCCT.

Dual 480's disabling postfx makes it more stable and OCCT is alot more stable. However i it doesn't draw as amny amps. so I'd need a way to fire the 560 up at the same time. (wish I had a third 480) any benchmarks that run hard and let you specify which card to use? I've been looking but can't find one.

Why not run both furmark and OCCT at the same time? Or a combination of stress programs. One that runs on the 480s and supports SLI and then the other that runs on just the 560?

because they are written to run on the #1 card or SLI if enabled and won't run on the 560. switches (-gpu #) don't work, I tried. On both programs. and several tries on google got me zip except for a few other other people trying to find out how.

Hmm maybe try the AIDA64 GPU stress test? It's supposed to stress all GPUs at the same time regardless of type.

Edit: Apparently it just uses the same stuff folding does. That was a thread based on its early release though. Still worth a shot.

yeah i's not pushing them. with furmark on the 480's and F@H on the 560 and prime95 torture test and moving large files from disk to disk, and.... I can get up around 1100-1150Watts draw from the wall. With everything is does enabled AIDA only got up to 800 some odd and not steady. I'm looking for some Tim Taylor type stuff here. I want a fairly steady draw of 1100 or up. I'm tryin to get as close to maxed out on the PSU as I can without going over (by much) it should be able to peak at 1100 output for up to one minute.

Why exactly are you trying to do this?

to get data on the efficiency of the PSU. Steady (or close to it) is the key so I can get accurate readings.
