CAT 6 Cables, Which one to get?

Hi Guys,

I'm not a networking guy so I need your advice for a project we're working on at home. We are planning on pulling in some CAT 6 cable into the walls throughout the house and have wall plugs all around the house in every room which will lead to a main plug where the router gets attached.

So basically one area where there are 4 wall plugs (Router Area), and then every room (4 rooms) will have a single CAT 6 (LAN) connector in the wall. I hope this is understandable.

Now there are so many different cables to get. My question is: If i want to get some cables in the wall, but there is a chance of weather interaction, because our house is a Manufactured house (meaning it's standing on metal planks and there is air under the house), will I need some special heavy duty cables like these:

And since I won't be using 1000ft of cable around the house, maybe just around 400ft, should I just go with cables like these and just cut down the ends to reveal the internal colored cables?

The third option would probably be the most cost efficient way of doing it, but are those cables good enough to pull through the wall, or are they only designed for internal use?

First off, I am color-blind so I never cut my own cables which make it a royal pain to pull through the walls. That being said, the 1000FT Cat 6 Bulk Bare Copper Ethernet Network Cable UTP, Solid, Riser Rated (VW-1), 500MHz, 24AWG – Black looks great. I use similar patch cords as you have listed but I think I purchased mine through Amazon.
How hot will your walls become in the summer? Also, my biggest concern would be critters gaining access and nibbling on your nice cables. Any issues with squirrels, raccoons etc? IMHO that would be the main reason to add additional sheathing.

that extra sheathing (if you mean the metal) is to cut down interference from other cables and wires. Remember, that stuff was made to be used in commercial applications where it might get run with the elelctrical, phone, and other network wiring. Put enough of it together without protection and it gets "crosstalk" from the rest.

Thank you for the info. The walls probably won't get too hot, but there might be animals crawling around like yesterday night: a raccoon attacked our house under the house. Made quite a mess with cables and whatnot. Probably better to go with the tougher cables just to be on the safe side.
