Haven't tried the Release Preview yet. I have the Consumer Preview installed in VirtualBox, but felt like a waste of time to get to use it seriously. I'll probably download the new version and test it, and I expect that I'll feel the same (that it was a waste of time doing so).

I actually like it, seems to be a bit faster then Windows 7. I will have to say it does take some time getting used to it. But if you know how to make quick launches, and know where the start menu programs are hidden then it is not all that bad.

I don't like the task manager or Metro at all, or the fact that this OS was obviously made with mobile devices in mind over the general user. The only thing I have been told is Windows 8 has less of a foot print but with 8-16GB of RAM being so cheap and me being OCD on resources anyways it isn't a buying aspect to me. So Windows 8 will be the new Vista to me, or ME if you will. Originally Posted by Dragon
