Default minimum nvidia card for physX with my amd 5870 doing the gaming duties ?

I got a xfx 8500gt 512mb ddr2, evga 9500gt 1bg ddr2. which one will be better for physx without slow down the game?

They both wont be that great for PhysX, plus AFAIK it isn't an easy task to get AMD and Nvidia drivers to play nice. The minimum I would suggest as a PhysX card is around a 250.

They are basicly the same card. the 9500 is slightly faster so use it. when you install it go into the nvidia control panel and tell it that is a dedicated physx card. with luick you won't get the driver conflicts that PP mentioned.

What, you can now use an nvidia card as a dedicated physx with AMD video as a primary ?

You have always been able to but in past days getting around the block was a terrible PITA.

it was a nightmare before. had to use a third monitor and then set the nvidia as primary etc etc etc. Nvidia needs to just make it where we can run physix on amd based vids.
