Avoiding the DNS Changer ‘internet blackout’

On July 9 2012 the FBI will shutdown a set of DNS servers that used to be run by some criminal types for nefarious purposes, but have since benn run by the FBI. The DNS Changer Malware may have been removed from your system by using an antivirus/malware software, but still may have left an improper DNS address in place.
