    Smile Torchlight II

Is anyone else looking forward to Torchlight II? I decided to skip Diablo III after reading along time ago about no LAN. I am ready for a good aRPG.

Not really sure about this one. It looks very cartoonish. Being a fan of Titan Quest, i'm not sure if I could adjust to playing a cartoon. I'll see if i can find some gameplay vids and take a look. i do like the idea of small campaign groups. the "everyone else who's playing" arenas of WoW and the such never appealed to me.

Here is a link to a good Video. Torchlight II seems less cartoonish than the first Torchlight, and not really more cartoonish than Diablo III. There is also Grim Dawn made by a few of the people that made Titan Quest. I have pre-ordered Grim Dawn myself.

Both look like they are worth playing. We will see.

Just picked up the first one during the Steam Summer sale and I will say it looks way too much like Fate (which was a great game in it's own sense) but it's still a lot of fun to play.

So how is Torchlight II? I have Torchlight, but I haven't actually had time to play. Is it worth getting Torchlight II. I have Diablo III but lost interest in it after the first main part. I heard some people prefer Torchlight over Diablo. What do you guys think?

I pre ordered it on steam but haven't played it yet. I've been too busy. I liked the first one and I like D3 as well. I'll have to try it out when I get some free time.
I also have an extra copy that I want to give away. So first person to that is from our Bjorn3D steam group to message me gets it. http://steamcommunity.com/groups/Bjorn3D#members My steam name is Lactose The Intolerant. Good luck to the first person.

And please post your opinion about it.

I tried the demo of Torchlight and didn't like it that much, so I wasn't really interested in II either. Only action RPG I'm looking forward to is Sui Generis. I have no idea if and when it will appear (depends on the Kickstarter result, I guess), but the video makes it look cool and the description makes it sound like it's more than a normal action RPG.

So after playing it for about 4 hours over the weekend I really like it. I like the play style and the story is good so far. My only complaint is that the item stats are a little hard to read. I would like it if it were like D3 where if the stats are better it would be highlighted green and red if worse. All in all a fun game so far with plenty of loot and enemies

Holy moly, Sui Generis looks awesome, though not sure how a long battle with one single enemy will work out. I'm sure they will work on that. I think the game would be more engaging if fighting would be a bit faster and more damaging like.

I've heard from a few people that Torchlight II is more enjoyable than Diablo3. I want to get the first one before I try 2 though.

of course, Diablo3 wasn't developed by who developed Diablo II, but i prefer Diablo3, except the non-Lan conection
