AMD will build ARM based 64-bit processors

The formation of Heterogeneous Systems Architecture (HSA) and the announcement of utilizing ARM Coretex A5 CPU in selective x86 APU for TrustZone in 2013 from AMD has indicated AMD’s plan to integrated and utilize ARM in their future product.

Today AMD is making an announcement that it will develop 64-bit ARM processor for servers. The product is expected to go in production in 2014 but AMD is not yet ready to announce any specific information on the model and product specification.… Read More

I guess Skynet really comes online sometime in 2014.
