Tower help!
Hello interwebs!
I am in need of advice/help/insight when it comes to tower information. I recently had a laptop which crapped out on me in about 4 years and need to find a machine that can play movies, some graphic intensive games, and be overall good when it comes to GB space. I don't want to spend more than 1,000 if anyone can recommend me some good ideas or tips?

Did you find anything? If you have the knowledge or someone that could help you I recommend building a computer yourself. It's usually cheaper and doesn't come preloaded with bloatware (stuff like firewalls and antivirus that companies pay others to get their product in the lines) and is generally a better deal. I would recommend looking around on Newegg.com (they have parts and prebuilt computers too) and see what you like. If you need help or just want to know if something is a good price just ask

If you don't know the first thing about building computers, look at three companies:
iBuyPower
CyberPower
Puget Systems
These three companies all build custom computers out of parts you'd find on NewEgg

Hi plenty of real sharp folks around here to help and advise you along the way should you decide to build your own rig. What is great about a community such as this ,is that there are many members here that can be real savvy about selecting the best hardware for the best price. As well provide some tips and guide you if needed along the way. You may find that is can be a lot easier than you think to build your own system and tweak it the way you like. One thing for sure by building your own rig is that you will really know a lot more about the hardware than ever and be able to maintain and upgrade the system later on as needed. plenty of options here and more than enough helpful advise.
It is simply up to you so.. Just ask away.
