    Steam is coming to Linux with a limited access beta. Currently, there are about a dozen titles available on Linux systems that includes Team Fortress 2.     Awesome indeed. I was wondering will I be able to use this client to download my games to my Linux server and then transfer to my windows based gaming system. Because I don't like to leave my gaming system on the whole day to download a game . Lol

    I do not think the are interchangeable between the two OS's yet. Due to the Linux not using DirectX.

    Yeah I guessed as much. But It would be good to have a light weight game downloader for windows on the Linux OS

    Steam running on Wine should probably work for that.

    I'm curious about this and thought about applying to the beta, but since I don't regularly use Linux I couldn't answer the questionnaire honestly. I guess I'll just wait for it to be released and test it then.

    Wooooooot! Finally! Glad this at last came out - makes it easier. There aren't a ton of bugs so far...
