Pretty sure someone is getting AC3 for Christmas, so wife wont let me get it atm. Picked up Planetside 2 (f2p woot!), DOTA2 (friend gave me a key) and won a copy of Zombie Driver

Omg I hate that stuff. I mean, cool and all about getting the gift and good on the person giving, but FFS if I have the money I want to play the game now.

I know right? haha. The joys of marriage that's why I just tell everybody to get me gift cards, cash or checks. Can put it towards something I am saving up for or tying to buy.

Mine decided she wasn't going to try and surprise me with games unless she knows I want a sealed copy of it for my collection. One such game being Skyrim.

I've been playing a decent amount of PS3 since I bought mine recently. I completed all 3 Uncharted games in a weekend...

Those must be some really short games!

Honestly, I can't wait to get my new system built. I have so many product keys for steam, I want to at least have them downloaded even if I don't get to play the games.

They actually are kind of long, I can't think of an exact time off the top of my head, but I spent at least 30 hours playing all three.

That's why I'm saying that they're short games. 30hrs of game play for all 3 games comes out to just 10hrs of game play per game.

Was about to say the same thing. Man, any SP game less than 40 hours is lame to me. When I can blow through a new Halo game on Heroic in a few hours it makes me feel like my money would have been better spent on a ton of ice cream and soda.

I have no problem with single player games which are just 2 hours long. I just don't expect to pay much for them. $1 per hour is good value IMO, but I don't think that even $5 per hour is bad -- it's certainly on par with other forms of entertainment.

I guess I have a different perspective. I normally only get time in bunches so its nice to be able to complete a game in 10 hours. Though the Uncharted series was excellent and I wish it was longer, by them making it shorter it makes it so I can easily complete a whole game in a short period of time.
