that's a really good camera on your phone, btw. mine for some reason always come out really grainy even though it's a 5MB Pixel camera. It shouldn't come out super grainy like they do. Some grain, sure, but my camera is just horrible for some reason.

I can relate to what you mean.. my android phone got 8megapixels but quality is not really that good... or perhaps everybody just have high standards nowadays with DSLR cameras being a mainstream @__@

Make sure your lens is clean on the back. Mine come out grainy too if a smudge from my finger is on it. Also, default settings are not the highest quality. Make sure super fine is set, and the highest res is set. 8Mp is the same as my phone.

Settings wise, my camera is already there. I do try and keep the lens clean, but sometimes I forget to clean it before taking pictures. But 5MP can only go so far still
