    That's a great deal.

One of those Intel 330 180GB SSDs would have been nice but they went quick.

I guess I'm sorta after the sale, but if I had cash (I don't :*( ) I would probably have looked for a nice 23" monitor or memory or SSD deal.

that one and the 240GB one were arround for about 2 day at Tiger and I have to give them a big + for limiting them to 1 per customer and a big "-" for price gauging as they were raising slowly prices on them by 10$ at a time.

Me too, and I saw 3 on sale so I was pretty happy. At Target actually, I braved a really long line that took about two hours to get through.

It really wasn't too bad for saving 50% on all the stuff I got, plus they were on PS3 so its not like I can get them in a Steam sale.

I ended up buying a 32GB Nexus 7 for the equivalent of about $280 (less than I expected to pay), and an Xbox + Kinect bundle for $470 (more than I had hoped, but it did include an extra controller). I'm already enjoying the Nexus 7, but haven't yet hooked up the Xbox.

I'd rather pay the 50% more than stand in long lines full of people that can stampede over saving $2 on any item they want.

I guess that's true. Black Friday is actually downright dangerous. I bet there are 10+ casualties per major store (i.e. Best Buy, Wal Mart, Target, etc.) Although stores are getting better at crowd management. Still, people w/ mace, pepper spray, etc.... geez.

Don't know how it is in your area, but in my area (SoCal) EVERY store that I have been to for Black Friday takes it very seriously. I went to Wal Mart last year and it was extremely organized and flowed very well. You walked in, told the person what you wanted to get and they would tell you where to wait in line. (This was a open 24 hour wal mart). So I went there with some friends and we were shooting to get an Xbox 360 deal. Just had to wait in the plant nursery area for a while until midnight. Every hour or so they would come out and count the people and hand out tickets that guaranteed the product if you stayed in line. Got in, paid for it, got it. Just the line was a bit long but we were out by 1AM. I found the process very well thought out. Only downside is if you want an Xbox, big new TV, or whatever big items are on sale you need to bring a few people to wait in those lines for you.

Got it on Friday last week. Been using it ever since (after the 24 hour battery charge). That little SOB is awesome! Two dogs, a mangy cat plus a daughter that does not seem to understand the finer points of napkins and plates, that thing picks everything up. Plus, it's fun to watch it run, if you have a beer or two. Other than that, it's like watching paint dry.
