Honestly, I don't want to go into more detail than what I've already said. But what I've already said can be backed up by other members of this forum who work / worked / or know people who work for EVGA. All I'll say is what I've already said before. Working at EVGA isn't that great. Peti1212 pretty much hits the nail on the head of work conditions there, and from my friends who still work there, it appears that conditions have not really changed much since I've left back in 2008.

From my experience conditions of work don't necessarily effect the products associated with the company. Cough Apple. Every person I know of that has an eVGA product is extremely happy with it and their CS. In the end, that's all that matters. A job is a job, and you are getting paid to do that job. I've always said to myself if I'm getting paid a decent amount of money for the task at hand then it's best to deal with it or find something else and quit *****ing. My first real job was working for ACS which was an outsourced Sprint call center. Starting out at 13 an hour and being bumped to 15 right out of your two week training period is great for a sit down job. If you have the mentality to deal with idiots over the phone then it's a cake walk. The working conditions over the phone and in person were horrible, but the amount you got paid to do very little you can't really complain. It's a pity they just dropped off the face of the planet =(

Yep it was the earlier Shift.. The calls used to get busy a little later on after the lunch break or morning cup of tea. And I couldn't get used to waking so early. It was really hectic. That was my first ever job that I had gotten..I was fresh out of school. I and then I decided working isn't my thing is yet. Might as well study. I so it's been 5 years and I'm still studying
. Had gone for a couple of interviews but didn't get any call backs..

Thanks for the enlightenment, CDsDontBurn.
PP Mguire, I agree with what you're saying, but I also think it's important to enjoy what you do. Obviously, I wouldn't recommend ditching a well-paying job if you don't have another one lined up, but I think if you have other options, it's worth pursuing.

I think so too. If there APU's keep going the way they are, I think they might be able to take over the casual laptop and basic gamer desktops. Just my two cents.

That's exactly my point.
AMD isn't going for the high end market anymore. They're going for the low-end / laptop / casual gamer market like you said.
