AMD reduces chip orders from GlobalFoundries

AMD has been in a rougher road for the last quarter of 2012. Last October, AMD analysts forecasting on the company's fourth-quarter sales are short of their estimates. With that, AMD initiated cost-cutting actions by cutting down the $500 million wafer purchases to GlobalFoundries by around 75%, down to $115-$125 million
