yeah.. that's the only thing left.. I already tried the following troubleshoot
1) change power cord
2) plug directly to outlet
3) remove rams (still restarts.. it should post error but not restart right?)
4) remove graphics card
5) removed cooler, used stock cooler

tomorrow I'll try borrowing a friend's i3 processor and his PSU as well. If not, I might just buy a pentium G processor and have the i5-2500k RMA
