What type of gamer are you?
Just curious if you are a PC, console, or an in betweener and how hardcore you are of one. I prefer to game on the console because I sit at a computer all day at work and school and it's nice to take a break. Not to mention not having to worry too much about compatibility and upgrades every few yrs versus buying a new console every 6 or more.
But I game on the PC when it's must have like Diablo or Starcraft. Thoughts? =]

PC (Mouse and keyboard). Anything else is just silly.

I think you're gonna get some biased answers on a computer hardware site.

I'm a weird case. Up until the latest gen of consoles I have been both, but every once in a great while I will actually turn on my 360. For me I prefer keyboard and mouse, plus high resolution textures, AA, AF, and all the extra eye candy I can use to make a game better. Thing is, with the way things are going I'm slowly venturing away from gaming as well. I enjoy the upgrades and such as I'm a PC enthusiast and I spend most of my time in front of the screen by choice but I believe that's about to change.
Still though, as of right now straight up PC gamer unless it's old school NES time.Univac

I'm a mobile gamer. I don't have much time to sit by my PC, and certainly not to hog the TV, which is why I bought a Nexus 7. This option isn't on the poll so I didn't vote. For most of my life I've been a PC gamer, but that mainly turned to game hoarding rather than playing.

I don't think I'm the only one when saying casual gaming is way different than actual gaming.
That's like the chick who played Halo once with her bf calling herself a gamer. I know a ton of people who play games like Angry Birds in the car but otherwise would never touch a console or PC for the games found on them.Univac

If I could afford large enough HDD's and every single game I wanted to play was on PC, I'd be exclusively PC, however neither is the case. I currently have such an extensive and robust game library though (console AND PC), that I'll likely never complete over 90% of them and may not even play a handful, lol. It's alright though as I have some of them for my wife and son, not for myself. I grew up on console gaming, so I feel no reason to abandon it altogether, especially when at least 2 of my fave franchises are console-exclusive still.

For the past several years I've been a console gamer. Mainly because I haven't had a good computer. Don't get me wrong though. If I had a good computer I would have been playing on both console and PC.
However, now that I'm building my computer (and should be ready by today
), I'll definitely be playing both PC and console games. I might be using a 360 controller on my PC because some games (Dirt 2 / 3 for example) would be too difficult to play using a keyboard / mouse IMO.
