    Atari, one of the pioneers of gaming in different platforms, filed for bankruptcy early this week. Founded in 1972, the company released some of the all-time popular console game titles which includes "centipede", "pong" and "asteroid". This move aims to isolate the American brands from their not-so-profiting French parent company.
