Default Help save Gas Powered Games

These guys made Dungeon Siege 1 and 2, Supreme Commander and sequels and some other games. They ran out of money, and their only hope now lies in the Wildman Kickstarter project. This project also includes a really great development environment and mod tool which can be seen in video update #5, and IMO is worth pledging just to get that done.

There's also a very long and candid video chat with Chris Taylor here. It's definitely worth listening to.

I'm very tempted to give $20. Digital copy of the game at that price is a nice edition.

Same here seems like a great idea. If it fails you don't loose anything but if it succeeds you've got a hell of a game.

    Game info link.

I gotta say that after spending a ton of time reading and watching stuff about the project, Chris Taylor seems to be a marketing disaster. His whole presentation and video updates scream "desperate failure". This was only my initial surface reaction to his stuff, after getting in a bit deeper did I realize that the guy and the project are quite good and worth supporting.

    Good luck!

I agree. He's a good guy, and after watching enough I think he's also a capable guy, with both design and technical skills. But marketing isn't something he's very good at.
