The difference between the two from PowerColor that are sold is just the fan shroud. I have the first one that is black with aluminium shroud. The other one is plastic. Don't get me wrong, the plastic is still a strong plastic and all, but it's not as awesome as the metal shroud

Yea, just posted locally. Wont ever happen, but figured I'd try. Both my cards for a single 7970 lol. Realized all I play anymore is emulators, old games, and Skyrim. Skyrim likes AMD, so figured the extra VRAM and FPS will help greatly. Not keen on using the drivers again, but willing to deal with it.
Edit: A bit on topic, I'm currently playing the FF7 2012 PC remake with SweetFX enabled, and forced AA+TPAA. Combining that with my PS2 controller sure makes for some great fun.Univac
