At those timings I could get the FSB to 270Mhz no problem on my old MSI K8N Neo2 Plat with stock voltage. I should have bought the Neo4 instead. I would prefer to run my ram @ 2.5-3-3-7 with or without a divider but if I have to use 3-3-3-7 I am very disapointed with Asus on this board. Still I will see if I can get a higher score using 3-3-3-7 or not.
    Like I always say:

For good overclocking results, one needs a good pair of TCCD memory modules with a nice DFI NF4 Ultra-D/SLI-DR (...and EXPERT model, preferred).
If you were thinking about overclocking, why didn't you buy the DFI???

Anyway, you still got a pretty good board, and it even overclocks pretty well, of course not like the DFI, but I still think that with a little patience and the "correct" BIOS settings, you'll end up with a pretty decent overclocking.

    GOOD LUCK!!!

I would prefer a 1:1 OC but if I have to use a memory divider then I guess I have no choice. I guess every board is different and the Asus A8N-E is a step down from my old MSI K8N Neo2 Plat OC'iing wise. I was thinking about a few boards and the DFI NF4 Ultra-D was on of them but I don't really know alot about memory settings and DFI's has a lot of memory settings I read from reviews.

There were times I tried to overclock my system, bought fans, played with the bios and all kind of tools in order to get another 10 or 20 3D marks...
    Suddenly I realized:
I invested too much time trying to OC my system and troubleshooting all kinds of problems than to actually use the system in order to play and enjoy the games themselves...
Besides, the fans created a very noisy system which I didn't like at all.
That's when I decides to throw away all fans or reduce their noise, removed all frequencies to stock level and start playing!!!

Thx zachig. I could probably get a little more inf my memory if tha Asus A8N-E didn't have a 1T command problem. I have to use amemory divider as with 1T my memory can't get past 244MHz. After I read abou this I wish for a MSI or DFI now argh I hope ASUS fixes this 1T problem.

lol amd pwns all hehe jk.

Well when I first got my Asus A8N-E and had everything ready to go. I wanted to see the OC'ing potential of this board. I came across some BSOD when I upped the FSB to 245MHz. I then checked the ram setting in the bios and changed the command rate from 1T to 2T. To my surprise I was able to get my memory to 277MHz. So then I did some searching and found a forum that mentions that this board does have a 1T problem when trying to OC memory. I should have bookmarked the link, crap. After I read this I really wanted a MSI or DFI. So if you plan on buying this board and want a 1:1 OC higher then look elsewhere as you will never get it unless Asus fixes this problemor you want to settle with using 2T command rate. Other than that its a pretty good board.

    New score @ 2.4GHz, 333MHz, 1T, stock voltages

I am gonna see if I can get my system to run at 2.5GHz and 2.6GHz.

This 1T bug in my board really sucks but it isn't noticable when palying games.
