Oh yeah, I played Left 4 Dead 2 at 1680*1050 with the video settings all the way up and it was nice. I don't even lag at all. Widescreen monitors feel a lot better to use for first-person shooter games.

Every time I use a computer with a 4:3 monitor, it feels so cramped.

My picture at fileshack got deleted, and since I pay for my own server it should be used for something. So here is the photo that is now missing from my 04-15-2008 post.

Ever since I bought a console and started to use my parents' 50 inch LCD, I have never played high-demanding video games on a PC (even at a friend's house) simply because it's so hard to see details (especially in bfbc2) such as people far off in the map.

I can't believe people still use 4:3 ratio monitors, I haven't used one since 2004 when LCDs became dominant in the market. It's just so much easier to do schoolwork and surf internet on a 16:9.

yeah once you got 16:9 you can't go back.
I was watching Red Dawn last night (WOLVERINES!!!) on my 52" tv and its weird seeing a square box of an image in the middle.

I can't wait till the 3D tvs come out and when is that damn 1080p Acer 24" inch 120Hz coming out? I can't seem to find it in any stores yet. I hope the price stays the same as the announced price of $399. I love my Samsung 2233rz but it can only do 1680x1050.

My main PC has 3 X Samsung 2233RZs running NVIDIA 3d Surround for some VERY widescreen gaming.

My main has a Samsung 2233RZ and I just "pulled the trigger" after about a week of research on this 12-bit Dell U2410. Hope it will live up to my expectations for an IPS panel.

OOO I'll join, I have two HP zr22w monitors, 21.5" each. Makes for lots of desktop real estate, it's great!

I paid a measly 270 for them, including an ergotron neo-flex stand ...such a great deal. =)

No pics of the monitors yet, my desk is always to dirty.
