It's not completely but it is more wide than the square 19" ones(that arent true widescreen)

You can't tell? Its way too easy to tell the difference between a widescreen and none wide screen.

Newegg has this new Samsung 22" for $379 plus free shipping. Its HDCP compliant and seems alot less than a $750 24". Im thinking of pulling the trigger on this one...any opinions.

Argh... but sometimes it's a good thing to avoid the "impulse purchase" as well... it's a catch-22
How much is the shipping charge? (probably quite a bit given the size of the monitor and the shipping box)
