Default Monitoring my appliances with my PC

Hi folks!

I would like to know if and how one can connect the pc to the thermometer which is in the fridge so that I can monitor the temperature from where I sit. Sometimes I need to screw it up and sometimes down, don't ask me why, but I think it has do with the outside temperature. It may also have something to do with what is placed in the fridge, but this I don't know.

Okay, so if anyone here know what equipment I need and how it is connected and what software I need to be running in order for this to work then I'll be happy to know about this.

B.t.w. if it's possible to place a bluetooth tranceiver and have it connected to the thermometer, then I won't have the hassle with cables. I don't like that in this case.. But maybe that's not possible?

Greetings!

I would set a fan control inside the frig, and hook a fan motor to the temp control. When it gets to hot it turns on, and makes it colder.33

I came up with a simple idea even us poor folk could do.

You could always set a temp sensor in the fridge and have the cable hooked up the 3rd pin on a fan slot on your motherboard. Then use a temp monitor program to view the temps or your bios.

Or you could also use something like a Hardcano or Zalman bay and put it in your frdige door. Then put the temp sensor in the fridge so you have a temp sensor on the outside.

I would just hook up a thermoresistor somewere right inside the fridge thats near the middle or so.

otherwise, you could get one of those wireless broadcast temp things that send to your pc.

p.s. get your compressor checked, have the coolant checked and clear the cobwebs off the back radiator.

All feedback greatly appreciated! Thanks!
