In Win Commander 1200

INTRODUCTION

So, it's that time of year again, huh? You know what I'm talking about. It's time to upgrade the computer, with all those post-holiday sales and what-not! I'm talking, of course, about a power supply. Once, the component added to the end of your list almost as an afterthought, the power supply has moved up the list to become one of those critical components that you are certain to spend a little time researching.

It can offer several benefits. Not the least of which is higher efficiency. Many users mistakenly believe that when they hook up a 1KW power supply their power bill will go up as a direct result. When you have a highly efficient power supply, however, you're not drawing any more wattage from the wall than you would with a smaller PSU, you simply have more room to grow.
