Microsoft has kick start its Windows 7 push today with major discounts on pre-oder of Windows 7. You can buy Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade for $49.99 and Windows 7 Professional Upgrade for $99.99. This is a major discount from  119.99 and 199.99, respectively. Windows Ultimate does not get the discounts as the other two versions. Head over to Microsoft's site if you are interested in buying one or any of the authorized retailer.

The upgrade version allows customer to do a clean install or if you already got Windows Vista, you can also do an in-place upgrade.
