You may have seen the news we have posted regarding to the iTune 8.2.1 not synching with Palm Pre. Now the story gets more interesting as Palm has released webOS 1.1 that "fixed" the synching issue. In addition to be able to sync the iTune, the new firmware also includes support for emoticons in messaging app and the ability to set "person reminders" in the contact app. It is still not sure what Apple will do next to prevent the device synching with iTune.

Currently, Best Buy is selling the Pre for $99 with two year contract with Sprint. It is yet to be seen if such price reduction can lure some customers.
