I guess that if you are being persistent, then your wishes would finally come true. After various failed attempts to buy Yahoo, Microsoft has finally made an agreement with Yahoo. Putting the second biggest search engine in partner with the largest software manufacturer in the world.

The 10 year agreement would allow Microsoft to introduce its search engine, called Bing, to more people. Bing was launched in June 2009 and it has gained some market place with Microsoft heavily pushing the search engine. By partnering with Yahoo, Microsoft is hoping to convert users who use Google by force of habit to Bing.

Microsoft did not have to forge out an up front payment to Yahoo for this deal.The deal is expected to close until early next year and then it would take two more years before the details have been finalized.
