Windows anytime upgrade and family pack pricing revealed
Since Windows Vista, Microsoft has offered Anytime upgrade for people with existing Windows to upgrade to a different edition of the same OS (ie upgrade from Vista Home to Vista Professional). The offer will also be extended to Windows 7, the upcoming OS that will be released in Oct 22, 2009.
According to the Windows Blog Now Microsoft has reveal the pricing for the upgrade. Users who wish to upgrade Windows 7 Starter to Windows 7 Home Premium would have to shed out $79.99, from Windows 7 Home Premium to Professional and Ultimate will have to pay $89.99 and $139.99, respectively.

Windows 7 installation disc actually will come with all editions of Windows and customers are simply buying the license to unlock the additional features for the other editions.
The site also disclose more information about the Windows 7 Family Pack that we have posted earlier. As we have previously posted, Windows 7 Home Premium can be installed on up to 3 PC if you buy the Family Pack version for $149.99.
