Google showed Chrome OS to the world a few days ago. The operating system built based on Linux distro will not be available until a year from now but Google has unveiled the system's source code. In addition, the company shows the user interface concept where the video shows that the internet search giant designed the OS to be "web-centric". The Chrome OS looks very much like the Chrome browser with the ability to pin applications to a tab like what you do on a web browser. It also has "panels" where it is like a pop up window where you can use to chat with friends and access folders on a digital cameras.
